Hiya, I was just re-listening to the singularly amazing "Arnold". I commented on it in 2013 apparently. Still sounds so fresh and brilliant today. I'm running through some of your more recent song catalogue here now. Cheers and happy new year!

Last track of the album and it’s a cracker ! Love the signature riff and powerful guitars . The whole album was performed produced and written brilliantly. You really are a prolific songwriter and musician . If I was looking for band members I would want you in it . Bravo Steveo !

Love the riff Steve . Sucks you straight in . Great hard blues . Love the the fact that the vocal is a bit distorted adds to the angst ! I would never think of doing that ! Genius move ! Great edgy performance. Rock on !

What a track ! The lyrics really resonated with me especially the bit about doing what you love isn’t really work until the pressure of constantly having to earn from it makes it much less enjoyable. I’ve been a pro footballer way back in the day but as soon as it’s a living you have to do what you’re told and sometimes play out of position . That made it less enjoyable . I didn’t make the top grade but I still play amateur football now and still love the game but no pressure now . I’ve been a full time martial arts instructor but as soon as it became a living I just wished I was still just training for myself ! I made a living from music too gigging but the pressure of being away and travelling sucked the enjoyment out of that so glad to be teaching guitar and recording for myself and others now . So the subject of this song is absolutely bang on ! Loved the change of direction about half way through awesome work Steve ! Really enjoying this album .

Like this. Excellent guitar work. Great concept of turning those sayings on their ear. Really like the riff after bloodbath that closes out the song.

Well I got to say Steve you are a fantastic lyric writer and this is no exception. Great prog rock track . Fantastic guitar work love the clean and slightly driven tone . As I’m listening to this album as soon as one track finishes it makes me want to listen to the next track . A sure sign of a great album. Class Steveo!

Great track again as per ! Dogs eh ? They can break your heart but enrich your life with their loyalty and true friendship. Great subject brilliantly performed! We have two yorkies Billy no mates ( he was the last pup left in the litter ) so we took him with the female we had already picked Millie sprinkles ( our daughter named her !) Billy and Millie a two for one deal ! Your song will resonate with all dog lovers like it did with me . we almost lost her 2 years ago when she got poisoned so I know your pain . Nice one stevie !

Hi Steve . I thought I would check some of your back catalogue out as I need to steal some ideas for my new tracks I’ve started writing ! lol . This is a great track . Would I be right in saying you write lyrics first ? And that’s why you had to change from 4/4 to 6/8 in the chorus? Which worked great by the way ! I tend to write music and chord progressions first and fit lyrics around it that’s why most of my stuff is 4/4 or 6/8 all the way through . I might try writing lyrics first for a change !
