Story behind the song
The Tree Of Life is the tree in the garden that was always mysterious to me when I read the story in the book of Genesis. As I read of the cross and how Jesus died for all our sins upon that tree it makes me think of the parallel and how this tree in Genesis was prepared beforehand for a very special purpose and only one man, the man with no sin, Gods Son, was the One and only one who could bare the sins of the whole world in this selfless act of mercy and make a way for all of us, namely all who would accept this gift of love and put all their trust in Christ and what He did to clear a way to fellowship and eternal life with the Father through Jesus the Son, The Tree Of Life.
