Story behind the song
I essentially got verbally slammed by a number of people for going out with this one girl.....and as if I am some kind of "babe magnet" with "no problem" and deserve better.........while in reality, my first choices always seem to be "busy".....I mean, what the the hell is a guy supposed to do, you know?...can't just sit there and wait for them........
This is an effort to address the issue, and at the same time, lampoon/satirize it.
Quite often, I do throw together some tracks that I don't have a clue what to do with. Happened to take one of those, generically called "Alt. #1" and made it into "Popular Guy".
